We celebrated our son and DIL’s Rehearsal dinner and couldn’t be more pleased with our experience! The manager Paula was a pleasure to work with from the start and she assembled the perfect team for our evening! The moment we walked in we were thrilled with the decor and room set-up. We opted for the family style menu: 5 courses delivered in 3 settings. Appetizers and Salads. Pasta and filet. Desserts. Everyone loved the options and the family style venue created the perfect atmosphere for lots of conversation and laughter! Our servers were a hit and everyone loved their joyful and helpful demeanor. I highly recommend!!! Our group ended up staying over 3 hours—we are all so grateful to all involved for creating this moment!
I have been coming here for at least 35 years. The staff is kind and eager to please. I seriously stray with dessert 1st! Chocolate Mascarpone and deconstructed Carrot Cake. I highly recommend the Holiday chicken manicotti, The fettuccine Micheal and well-dressed salmon. Gluten free pizza I would like to also tell you about the Gluten Free Pizza (Goodfellows) They make their own salad dressings, and they are always super good. Great martinis and wine. Convenient location meet your friends here, anytime and go for it!
Had a wonderful dinner with my cousin who was with a tour group last night. They were so accommodating with giving us a booth away from the group so we could catch up. I live in Grand rapids and she lives in South Carolina. The servers were so kind and accommodating and even the manager checked on us twice. Mind you I have worked in hospitality for 40 years. This place is a legend in Grand rapids. I have been eating here for more than 40 years. I do miss the back door pizzeria however I understand why it is transitioned to more of an event space. The food at Pietro's is on par with the best Italian restaurants in Grand rapids. The service goes above and beyond to accommodate. My only wish is that they would fire up the Wood-Fired oven again. Most importantly for me, it is one of the few places you can get veal still at a very reasonable price and the quality is phenomenal.
We went here last night for my birthday. The crab stuffed mushrooms were ok but I loved the chicken paisano and the peach fizzy drink I had. The waitress was nice. Will definitely be back.
With its rich history and local staple, Pietro’s is a must try! My favorite was their gluten free pizza and flourless torte. They have a great happy hour menu with both food and drinks (offered at the bar).
I was lucky to attend a wine dinner at Pietro’s and it knocked my socks off because it was so outstanding. The chef owner was so personable and friendly, service was impeccable, and every course of food was delicious and perfect with the wine. A mix of individual and family-style plates made it engaging. Having a master sommelier describe the wines and describe terroir made it even better. My kids ate in the restaurant and were swooning as well. Such a homey restaurant with delicious food—I’m going back ASAP.
Best authentic Italian food in Michigan. Always smells like fresh baked bread here , it's fantastic! Family owned & family recipes Been coming & bringing people here since I was a teenager. I've moved away since but had to get 2 orders of the chocolate mascarpone for my birthday when I came into town.. with extra creme anglaise! Missing the praline crunchy's tho!
